Shadow Confessions Is HERE!

Today is the day! Shadow Confessions: Raw Version, my debut poetry book, is finally available for purchase! It's been a journey. I started putting this collection together about 6 years ago, but the poetry in here was written as far back as 2011.

Shadow Confessions is a collection of haunting poetry and reflections surrounding themes like motherhood, mental illness, failed love, and resilience through the lens of a woman experiencing (and discovering) her battle with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD). It’s the most raw and unfiltered work I’ve ever created, and I’m super proud of how it turned out.

The subtitle, Raw Version, was added because I plan to make this a poetry series. I have collected and written so much poetry during my darker years that I couldn't possibly put it all in here. I plan to sort through and do some more tailored versions of Shadow Confessions. I'll talk more about those projects when I come down from cloud 9!

My dream of publishing a book has finally come true. I'm sure there are mistakes. I'm sure that not every poem will hit. I'm sure there will be some people who loathe the collection altogether. But none of that matters. It needed to be released. The universe said so—here she is.
