Venus Rising Anthology

My first published piece...and I couldn't be happier. I had the pleasure of being chosen for Venus Rising by Our Galaxy Publishing, an anthology presenting over 50 influential women writers around the globe, breaking the barriers and amplifying their voices.

My piece free-verse poem titled I know You Gave Up can be found on page. 48. This is the first time Shell Sherwood has been seen in print. It certainly will not be the last.

All proceeds from this collection will be donated to FemTruth Youth. This non-profit aims to raise awareness in the reimagining of school curriculum and culture inclusivity of menstrual pain.
